Miha Haas graduated in piano at the Academy of Music Ljubljana under the guidance of his Professor Dubravka Tomšič-Srebotnjak, and had completed his post-graduate studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the guidance of Professor Aleksandar Madžar. He continued his education by attending international solo and chamber music seminars by I. Lasek, J. Siirala, P. Paleczny, J. M. Huizing, M. Voskresenski, P. Kuijken and S. Picard. As a soloist he has performed with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music Ljubljana, Orchestra of the Conservatory Ljubljana and with Celje String Orchestra. 

Beside concerts with orchestras his musical repertoire includes piano recitals, performances with chamber music ensembles, especially the piano duo and duos with a violin or cello. He has performed at the premières of eight different Slovenian composers and has produced recordings for the archive of RTV Slovenia. He was awarded the Škerjanec award by the Conservatory Ljubljana, Prešeren Award by the Academy of Music and Prešeren Award by the University of Ljubljana. He is currently employed at the Academy of Music Ljubljana.
